Description: In LO Draw one has to define page size and then one draws on top of this page. But the drawing usually is smaller than the page. My request is a button to fit page size to the drawing. In Inkscape it's "pagesize to selection" Or draw a frame on top of the drawing and use this as export size. Steps to Reproduce: --- Actual Results: I paint in LO Draw (I like it), But to put pictures into Latex one needs to bring them into correct size. And if you try to export via Inkscape (export to svg, lod this in IS and write there on eps) details are lost (e.g. hatches). I tried for hours - nothing worked in a way that it's publishable. Expected Results: A button: "Adapt pagesize to object size" or something similar. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Thank you!
LibreOffice already has the reasonably functional 'selection' checkbox on the Export dialog from Draw. And used from a multi selection of Draw objects, it will export to a rectangle holding all selected objects. So the export feature is already in place. Your described workflow, which would be useful, would be an action resize document canvas to selected Draw objects--increasing or decreasing canvas page size to hold the selection. dupe of bug 81118 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 81118 ***
