Description Nicolas Christener 2019-10-29 15:57:57 UTC
Description:
When a user runs into this issue the document starts to jump around and zooms in and out more or less randomly.

This one is very hard to describe and probably even harder to fix. I ran into the issue quite often w/o doing crazy things and suspect that user run into it as well. It seems that closing the document and opening it again is the best way to get rid of the "broken state".

I now have one way to reproduce the state but there are definitely easier ways to run into it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create/open a writer document using the iOS app
2. Add random text and below the text add a picture
3. Do the following in a fast manner: tap on the picture to set the focus on it, tap on the text, tap on the picture, tap on the text, tap on the text.. - after some iterations the document starts to misbehave and jump around

As said in the descriptions there seem to be easier ways to get into the same issue but the procedure above is the simplest one I could find to actually trigger it.

I can't reproduce this anymore; tested with 4.2.4 (50).

I believe we can close this issue.

Thanks a lot to the Collabora team and especially Tor for taking care of this!

Thanks for retesting, Nicolas, this looks like bug 130203, which was fixed a while back, closing as duplicate.
