Description Saleh 2019-10-30 20:20:21 UTC
Description:
Assume you have a document with text and equations and you are collaborating with someone. When he made change to the text I can see it. However, if he made change to equation, There are two cases:
1-If the equation is edited using Libreoffice, I can see only the last version of the equation and I cannot revert back to the old equation (reject changes).
2-If the equation is edited using Microsoft word, I can see only the bracket of the last version of the equation, but not the letters and symbols.

In summary, writer cannot track changes made to equations.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open A new writer document
2. Write some text and equation.
3. Record changes (Review --> Record)
4. Edit the text and edit the equation.
5. Turn off the Recording (Review --> Record).
6. reject all changes.

Actual Results:
The text will revert back to what you wrote in step 2, however the equation does not.

Expected Results:
The text and equation should return back to what you wrote in step 2.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
should keep track of changes to equations and record them and allow you to reject changes made to text as well as "equations".
