Now the thing is in the Line and Filling toolbar and the units are OK. A minor problem remains now in the properties sidebar where the predefined line widths are always set to integer pt values even when working with metrics units (in this case, it would be much better to have as predefined values the metric widths that are standardized for technical drawings).
