Patent applications number paragraphs with 4-digits in brackets. For example, [0001]. Adding that capability would enable an entire class of professionals to switch to LibreOffice Writer.

An ideal implementation would probably allow for formatting paragraph numbers in Writer with the format code system available for cells in Calc.
