Description:
Connection failed on LibreOffice Impress Remote

Unable to select version 2.4.0 as 2.3.0 is the latest version.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pair Computer and Smartphone via Bluetooth
2. On Computer:
   (a) LibreOffice Impress.
   (b) Tools → Options… → LibreOffice Impress → General → Enable remote control:  Enabled
   (c) Close LibreOffice Impress
   (d) Open LibreOffice Impress
3. On Smartphone:
   (a) App permission
        i. Location: Enabled (Is this required?)
   (b) Open Impress Remote Control
   (c) In the BLUETOOTH tab, select the Computer
   (d) The following message shows:

Connection failed

Make sure you have enabled remote 
control. Go to “Tools → Options → 
LibreOffice Impress → General” in 
LibreOffice Impress.

In case of Bluetooth pairing issues, 
please read the documentation supplied 
by your Operating System.

Actual Results:
Connection failed in LibreOffice Impress Remote for Android 2.4.0

Expected Results:
Connection to work and slide show


Reproducible: Always

The same problem is also faced with Libreoffice Version: 6.2.0.3.

Thanks for reporting this issue.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Is this still a problem with Impress Remote 2.6.0?

Works for me with both, Bluetooth and Wifi connection with Impress Remote 2.6.0 and
