Description HTK300 2019-12-04 15:07:02 UTC
Description:
Hi,

Only on macOS, with Apple screen resolutions
1680 x 1050 or 1280 x 800 or 1152 x720

Libreoffice WRITER, CALC and BASE the personalized color scheme fails to extend the the personalization color e.g. green here and does not cover all the way to the right side of the app. In reslution of 1024 x 640 however the entire Menu (top and bottom area!) is perfectly colored by the personalized scheme as it should be. Other apps -PRESENTATION -DRAW -FORMULA are not affected

for some reason this minor design bug does not occur in Libreoffice V6.2.8 macOS 10.13: -Presentation -Draw -Formula, nor does this occur in a Windows 8 installation of Libreoffice at all

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Preferences in Libre Office
2. select a personalization scheme eg. green
3. maximize the app
4. see the uncolored part of menu area top and bottom
5. approx 15 % of area not colored/personalized

Remark. this applies to creen resolution other/higher than 1024 x 640
It is a macOS problem only

Actual Results:
menu area and bottom status bar is not colord by the personalization setting

Expected Results:
the color for personalization is supposed to be extended all the way to the right end of the screen for all the different screen resolutions higher than 1024 x 640

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
see expected results..

Tested on 30,5 inch (1920 x 1080) external monitor
Comment 6 Alex Thurgood 2019-12-19 09:16:27 UTC
It appears to be linked to the last opened document window size. When creating a new document from the StartCenter or the Dock, the window size takes the default, and the colour extends all the way across. Expanding the window size, e.g. to fill available screen space, doesn't cause the colour fill to be redrawn. If I open a new Writer document from the existing one, the fill colour extends all the way over to correspond to the window size.

Seems to me to be either a DUP, or a side-effec of, bug 75644

Hello Alex, thank you for the perfect description of the problem in your words. Let me just confirm, that this issue still persists in LO Writer 6.4.0.2
