Description:
Crashed on Dec 12th around 2 pm, by 1 am next day still "recovering 2 files I had open at the time.  IS this normal?  When can I expect my documents

Actual Results:
 

Expected Results:
don't have any steps = just a small window that says it is trying to recover the files.

Which LO version do you use? (last stable one is 6.3.4)
On which env are you?
