On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today or with LO Debian package 6.3.3.2, I don't reproduce this.

Did you install any specific fonts?
If yes, could you disable them just for the test?

Could you give a try to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps ?

Finally, could you give a try to last stable LO version 6.3.4?

Well, I also installed
Version: 6.5.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: 5030be4e85179147476b1e441eb618fb6ed58235
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.0; UI render: default; VCL: kf5;
TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@86-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2019-11-28_20:14:48
Locale: id-ID (id_ID.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: CL

and I finally have been removing my problematic one and installed the 6.3.4. no repro too. So, yeah, I think the problem just in the LibreOffice 6.3.0.4 flatpak

Thank you for your feedback.

If I understand well https://www.libreoffice.org/download/flatpak/, bugs which concern only Flatpak should be reported there:
https://github.com/flathub/org.libreoffice.LibreOffice/issues

So let's put this one to WFM then.
