Description: it is kind of annoying that one has to add all variants of a word to the custom dictionary... In Hungarian, and in so many languages, several "suffixed" version of any verb or noun could be added... BUT let's keep to English, probably the easiest language in this respect... When you add a new word, a noun, for example, it would be cool if variants like NOUN's would be added, too... or if spell check would run another round of checking when the string has an 's ending :) Capitalization is another such variant, for example... like friedenthal :) to keep to our example - - - I imagine, adding 3 words instead of one sounds like NO-NO, and really... what for...? I'm no expert, but I can guess that the search methods should be made more intelligent... Steps to Reproduce: 1. add a new word to a custom dictionary, like Friedenthal 2. then write: Friedenthal's or friedenthal 3. Actual Results: it will be underlined, marked as "not recognized" Expected Results: it should NOT be marked as "not recognized" :) once you add Friedenthal, capitalized and non-capitalized forms of it, as well as with the addition of 's, too, should be recognized... Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I can imagine that since LibreOffice works in so many languages, this could be a HUUUUUGE thing to do... but perhaps a minimal version, an embryonic base version could be developed... as to the 's ending, the spellchecker algorithm can recognize a word with a comma or period, or exclamation mark, or question mark after it, too :) I mean, the intelligent recognition I'm asking for is already in use :)
