In order to satisfy the bug tracker upload file size limit, I have cut the document into the first 50 pages.

That could be because the bug not happening consistently. Have you tried replicating it on the mentioned version first?
Comment 6 Buovjaga 2020-01-22 15:09:31 UTC
Alberto: you could try an appimage version of 6.4: https://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/
Do you see problems with it as well?
Comment 7 Alberto Salvia Novella 2020-02-11 03:34:08 UTC
Sorry, but I only have time to provide testing that nobody else will be able to.

You were testing with an obsolete version, so please test with a recent one to confirm the issue is still present.

I just realized the ultimate truth about writing good code.

The ultimate truth is:
"You break it, you fix it"

THANK YOU 😂

I don't understand how this relates to the exchange so far in this report. Ian tested with a more recent version and was unable to reproduce. It is completely normal to then ask the bug reporter to try with a newer version.

Okay okay, I will try.

Sorry, I have decided that bisecting bugs doesn't belong to the end user.

Ok, bisecting would have been much more time-consuming, though, and nobody asked you to do it: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bibisect
Your decision does not magically turn the status to NEW, however.

Rule of thumb is search before reporting and discussion if bug already reported.

I assume you have something in mind.. don't something obvious in bug 96000 (or I missed it)
Comment 17 Telesto 2020-09-04 12:48:32 UTC
They screencast shows page 57, the excerpt has only 48 pages.. Is possible to simply add the pages as shown in a screencast into a document?

Also are there additional dictionary's used. The sample file (book.odt) has no spell check errors (except for e-mail)
Comment 18 Jonny Grant 2020-11-18 13:57:30 UTC
Sounds similar to another bug.

1. Type a word miss spelt in v6.4.6.2 Calc
2. eg type word aquisition
3. see it is underlined
4. spell check, correct the spelling.
5. Observe the word is still underlined red.
6. move the window around, see the word is still underlined red.

I don't know, as it happened only a few times.

I will reopen if it does again.
