I cannot believe that you are repeatedly wiping this text that I have spent half an hour preparing because the summary and signature you have prefilled is 264 and not 255 characters, even if I try to shorten it. This is also a bug in your bugzilla please report it.

Summary:
Crash in: std::_Tree_comp_alloc<std::_Tmap_traits<formula::FormulaToken *,std::shared_ptr<sc::opencl::FormulaTreeNode>,std::less<formula::FormulaToken *>,std::allocator<std::pair<formula::FormulaToken * const,std::shared_ptr<sc::opencl::FormulaTreeNode> > >,0> >::_

Signature:
["std::_Tree_comp_alloc<std::_Tmap_traits<formula::FormulaToken *,std::shared_ptr<sc::opencl::FormulaTreeNode>,std::less<formula::FormulaToken *>,std::allocator<std::pair<formula::FormulaToken * const,std::shared_ptr<sc::opencl::FormulaTreeNode> > >,0> >::_"]

LibreOffice Calc crashes on opening the attached xlsx file downloaded from Google Spreadsheets.

Hello Michael,
Thanks for reporting this issue and sorry for the summary's problem.
I can't reproduce it in

Version: 6.5.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: cc36c115004cb75037b0e4fdadff09035f765cd5
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
Comment 3 Mike Redacted-owing-to-bugs 2020-01-18 01:40:12 UTC
Indeed this file seems to open from Version: 6.3.4.2 (x64).

However, I would be grateful if you would consider the issue of Bugzilla wiping the user's comments if the pre-populated summary and signature fields are more than 255 characters and indeed prevent the pre-population being too long if that has not been fixed by the latest version?
