Description Emersson Augusto Suarez Ortiz 2020-01-24 00:11:12 UTC
Description:
I was writing a document and I had been insert a section in the last line and filed with information, but when I tried to get out to continue with my document, I realized that it is impossible, there is no options to do that, and if I want to add a new section it will be automatically a sub-section of the first one.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a document
2.Insert a section in the last row
3.Try to get out

Actual Results:
Can't get out of the section

Expected Results:
Get out of the section

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

I can't confirm this with

Version: 6.3.4.2 (x64)
Build-ID: 60da17e045e08f1793c57c00ba83cdfce946d0aa
CPU-Threads: 4; BS: Windows 10.0; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: win;
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE); UI-Sprache: de-DE
Calc: threaded

and also not with

Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: eeb2d19e77d6dc47c68e8ba0920a02cf64a1247b
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: default; VCL: win;
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI-Language: en-GB
Calc: threaded

If I insert a section in the last paragraph of a document, LO always inserts a new last paragraph.

To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) and re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present.

Hi everyone, maybe I need to explain it.
When you insert a section in the last row of a document the new section is placed in the document and a new line is placed after it, but if you use the Backspace key and delete this "last line" you'll be unable to get out of your section.
Maybe now you'll be able to reproduce this situation.

This video is super bad quality and I can't understand anything by looking at it.

Why not simply attach a document that is in this state "When you insert a section in the last row of a document the new section is placed in the document and a new line is placed after it" ?
