The font does not change (seen video) I tried the cloning tool and it's not working either. Created attachment 157498 [details] the file in which I have the issue
Closing & reopening the file makes the issue vanish (but it is still a pain in ....) Additional info (not sure it helps, but let's try :-)) : - the issue happened after I did some CTRL Z - It is often that the cloning tool doesn't work either
(In reply to jul from comment #3) > Closing & reopening the file makes the issue vanish (but it is still a pain > in ....) So how should it be possible to reproduce it with your document? Font in your document is Arial (except font in footnotes) => NEEDINFO
Hi Dieter, I fully agree with you... and that's the reason I joined a video, so that you can see it. Nevertheless, the bug is here :-( So don't hesitate to tell me how I can help to find it. Regards. Julien
I had a look to your document again. I could find part of the document (page 8), that is shown in your video. I could change font to Arial without any problem with Version: 6.3.5.2 (x64) Build-ID: dd0751754f11728f69b42ee2af66670068624673 CPU-Threads: 4; BS: Windows 10.0; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: win; Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE); UI-Sprache: de-DE Calc: threaded Additional information: Font wasn't Liberation Serif, but (regarding to the entry in the font list) Lohit Devanagari, a font that isn't installd on my laptop and therefor has been replaced.
Quite by chance, I experienced this bug today in Ubuntu Linux. File is not important, I had it on new file, any change would go to Lohit. Reason I'm not setting New is that bug should be reproducible. After that, I updated Ubuntu and removed all Lohit fonts.
(In reply to Dieter from comment #6) > I could change font to Arial without any problem with Works fine for me as well. > Additional information: Font wasn't Liberation Serif, but (regarding to the > entry in the font list) Lohit Devanagari, a font that isn't installd on my > laptop and therefor has been replaced. Nope, the Western font *is* Liberation Serif, *but* the CTL (complex text layout) font is Lohit D. Maybe Jul could go to Tools - Options - Language Settings - Languages and see, if there is something fishy in the "Default Languages for Documents" section. Hello there Nothing fishy in the "Default Languages for Documents" section, it is set to french. I don't reproduce the bug on a basic document and don't use much LO currently (I think I upgraded to Version : 6.4.3.2 also). I don't know how you manage this kind of bugs but if you want to clean you backlog and think it is not important, you can close it. Thanks
There must be reproducible steps. Without it, it may be closed as Insufficient Data. Thanks for reporting. It's possible ww will have more on this, in which case this should be reopened.
