Using Copy (Ctrl C-> Ctrl V) from .ods file, format dd/mm/yyyy value 12/01/2019 to .xls file, format dd/mm/yyyy value becomes 11/30/2015 from .xls file format dd/mm/yyyy value 12/01/2019 to .ods file, format dd/mm/yyyy value becomes 12/02/2023 This has been going on for some time. I just now have noticed the difference in file types and taken the time to check it more closely.

There is an option in Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice calc/Calculate - Date to set up the base date in every file.
