Description: My son sent me his script for editing. I spent three hours highlighting text in 4 different colors coded depending on what I was aiming for. I saved the doc and closed it. The next day (yesterday) I opened to continue and all 4 of my codes had been reduced to 2. I had to re-edit the entire script! Then thinking perhaps it was because I had saved it under the wrong .doc type. I proceeded to save it under three different file extentions: word 97-2003 doc microsoft word doc rich text doc And just to be safe I sent what I had finished to him yesterday so it wouldn't happen again. This morning I received an email from him asking if he was supposed to guess what my suggestions were since 2 different codes were both yellow (and yellow was not even one of my choices!) This has been happening for awhile, now this documents being all jumbled when re-opened. You keep asking for donations. and I would be happy to donate. If your program worked properly. And this was not an easy task to even be able to send you any feedback. There is no direct contact info anywhere. Extremely frustrating. I think I will try to find another Office program. Actual Results: I save the document and close it. Expected Results: I expect the document to look exactly the same as I had saved it. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Instead, images are moved around, fonts have changed. Things are not aligned. And highlighted colors are completely changed.
Hello, Do you reproduce it with any document or just with your son's document? if so, could you please attach it? I can't reproduce it from scratch. Steps 1. New document 2. add some text 3. highlight it. 4. Save it as .docx 5. reopen -> text is still highlighted
