Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click a link in Help > About LibreOffice dialog. This will open the link with Firefox if Firefox is the default web browser in your system. 2. Close the About dialog, and quit LibreOffice (including all LibreOffice windows). --> Firefox is also forced quit. Expected: Firefox remains open even if I close LibreOffice. They are different application and should be in different process. Most importantly, at the time of step 1 above, there are chances of important Firefox window open with very important task running (e.g., when I am writing this bug report)
Well, I did more testing and confirm that this is NOTOURBUG. To reproduce, you need to add a profile in the Gnome Terminal and put the path of "soffice" in the Gnome Terminal profile, and set this profile to run the soffice commant rather than a normal shell. This bug behaviour does not happen when start soffice from a normal terminal shell, or from the system application .desktop entry.
