LO sidebar with no handle to hide/unhide it

I cannot, for the life of me, find a way to hide the right sidebar, there is no handle to hide/unhide it and I cannot find any such menu open.

This is doubly annoying because Nextcloud also adds its sidebar, leaving very little screen real estate for the editor.

Did you try F11?

I didn't know that F11 is an option. I titled this "no *apparent* way to hide sidebar, because I thought there must be some way but it is not apparent to the user. I would suggest that it should have some handle with whom it can be hidden/unhidden, because most of us don't know the hotkeys.

F11 maximizes the browser, it doesn't hide the sidebar.

In the meantime, I found that the sidebar can be hidden from the "view" menu, but I don't see any reason why it can't get a handle that allows for quick hiding/unhiding, as in the desktop version.

current versions have a button on the icon bar to hide the sidebar. One just has to find it. Would be better to have it attached to the sidebar itself. That's where you look for it.

Yes, the rightmost button(s) on the toolbar show/hide the sidebar.
Let's retitle this bug report that the button isn't straightforward to find for unfamiliar users.
