I think I found a way to reproduce your bug.

Where exactly was your cursor positioned before you clicked on the "increase font" button? I can reproduce your report if I position the cursor and the end of the bullets' text line.

Does the bullet size increase correctly if you position the cursor at the beginning of the bullets' text line (or double click the first word of that line)?

For setting the font size, bullets are linked to the beginning of each line, respectively.

Hello,

thanks a lot for your job. For your information, i've tested the problem on another PC with Window 7 : The same....

In the document, if the cursor is before the first character of the first line, or at the end, or with many lines selected : the problem still occurs...

I've made a very short video (2.4 Mo) maybe it could help.

why percent value doesn't change ?

thanks again,

Regards,

Thanks for posting the video. That explains much better, how you try to increase the bullet size.
However, I still cannot reproduce your bug report here.

Can you do some more experiments for isolating the bug, like
- use a different template
- position the cursor at different positions before invoking the bullets' dialog
- use different fonts

Interestingly, in your video the initial relative bullet size is at 0%, while here on my machine it is 25% when I open you ODP file.
Comment 9 Arnaud 2020-03-25 09:07:58 UTC
Hello,
My tests results :
- I've just tried 3 templates, the problem is the same.
- Wherever is the cursor before invoking simple bullet button or bullet dialog : the problem still occurs, on one line or the selected lines...
- I've tried 3 differents fonts, the problem is the same.

I've noticed that if I directly acceed to 'more bullets' without pressing the single button to activate bullets, the dialog box doesn't allowed to activate the bullets. In my opinion, it seems strange...

Thanks and take care...

Schuss...

That is the case here, too.

For the general issue I am currently out of ideas ...
Maybe someone else can take it from here.

Do you also see the problem in a master build: https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html Win-x86_64@tb77-TDF ?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
