Created attachment 158145 [details] .docx file to reproduce the problem Steps to reproduce: - open the attached .docx file in Word => remark that the equation is centered in the table - now open the same file in LO (tested with 6.4.0) => remark that the equation is aligned on the left of the table
I can confirm with Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 28d844a589e52abfe62dc66b888e78665221ba28 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; and Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: efca6f15609322f62a35619619a6d5fe5c9bd5a) I noticed in command line: E: lt_string_value: assertion `string != ((void *)0)' failed
Created attachment 158177 [details] Extended test file from Word 2013 Extended the example a bit. There are 4 settings for placing the equation in the document horizontally, this file illustrates all of them, all imported as "Left". Also there is one more to embed the equation inside the text, that seems to work, or not be much worse than originally.
