I just installed LO 6.4.2 on my debian 10 machine and remarked that the startup time is very slow.
It is not slow when I launch the individual applications, but it is slow when I launch the main frontend.

Thank you for reporting this bug.

Can you please quantify what you mean by "slow" (i.e. provide a rough amount of time it takes to load, and a comparison to the time that other versions of LibreOffice took)?

6.4.2 starts in 20 s on my Dell XPS13 computer with Debian 10.
7.0Dev starts in just 1s.
So you can see there really is an issue.

Frederic,

have you checked the CPU load of your computer when launching LO 6.4.2?
Is there maybe a chance that you suffer from the same effect as I had reported under https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132134?

I don't know what has changed on my computer, but now I cannot reproduce this bug anymore. 6.4.2 starts normally.
