Description Ed Keizer 2020-03-23 16:46:24 UTC
Description:
I exported a table with 0.5pt table border (lines) to png from an odt. The resulting lines were much to thick. Printing the document produced correct line thickness. Exporting to png after increasing the thickness to 1pt do not result on the same erroneous behavior.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a table with 0.5pt line borders
2.export to PNG

Actual Results:
Much too thick border

Expected Results:
Normal border

Reproducible: Always

Border style test case

I'm not seeing this. In fact, the lines show the same for both 0.05 pt and 0.5 pt thickness. I placed two tables with different border width and they looked identical in the odt and png export

Could you check my test file how that works on your computer?

The PNG shows the result of exporting on my computer. Both types of lines are much to thick.

I still use the same version of libreoffice.

Sorry for the delay. Physical problems pushed this to the bottom of my priority list and after a while i forgot about it.

Have you tried upgrading to at least 6.4.3.5 and if the issue is still present?

Please test that and get back

PNG result of Liberoffice 7.0.4.2
Comment 8 Ed Keizer 2021-01-27 10:24:54 UTC
I tested on 7.0.4.2. The result was much better than on previous versions i tested. Although i observed that the 0.05pt and 0.5pt were the same size. I did not check whether that was an artifact of the resolution of the PNG. The current result is decent and is very useful for my purpose.

Thanks for the update, I'll resolve this case then :)
