Description: I have ran into an issue when printing a spreadsheet which is in landscape where it will show correct in the printer preview but end up printing in portrait and cutting off the print area to only print what would end up on a portrait layout. This started after upgrading from 6.2.8 to 6.3.3. I have also tried 6.3.4, 6.3.4, and 6.4.2 with the same results. I am typically printing to foxitPDF so have mostly been seeing it here but have also seen this when printing to an actual printer. I need to note that if I make any adjustments before printing, it will end up showing the incorrect way it actually will print. If I use the PDF selection, it will show up correctly but with my case, this function will print all tabs when I only need one so was using this as a work around. I have just reverted back to 6.2.8 which uses a different print faceplate and is working properly again. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Print a landscape sheet 2. 3. Actual Results: Prints the landscape sheet in portrait and cuts off a portion of the sheet. Expected Results: Prints the landscape sheet properly. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I have not attempted to reinstall the newer versions and see if the simple process of uninstalling which was required to revert to 6.2.8 would have also fixed the issue.
Please: 1. search for existing open and closed bugs to see if this is a duplicate 2. attach a sample file and screenshot of File-Print window 3. check if page format makes a difference (like A4 /Letter)
Created attachment 159242 [details] LibreOffice Calc - V6.3 Print Reverts to Portrait and Cuts Off Landscape Example 1. search for existing open and closed bugs to see if this is a duplicate I could not find anything that seems to match this issue. 2. attach a sample file and screenshot of File-Print window I have attached 3 screenshots: 1. Shows the print preview of how it should show up 2. Shows the print faceplate showing correctly how it will print which it does not 3. Shows how it will end up printing which will show this way once anything is adjusted but regardless if it shows correct or not, always prints cut off. I am attaching a sample file which have been using for a long time and works properly with 6.2.8 and below. 3. check if page format makes a difference (like A4 /Letter) Attempted this and had the same results.

So ODS is Letter Landscape. Similar bug 99183 is for Impress. 6.2.8: Print Preview wrong if VP is Portrait by default and not adjusted (unlike yours "show correct in the printer preview"), preview in Print OK, print OK landscape 6.3.3: Print Preview wrong, preview in Print OK with Orientation Automatic, print OK landscape (unlike yours "printing in portrait"); but wrong preview in Print if changed VP and stays wrong is set back to the same (like yours "if I make any adjustments before printing, it will end up showing the incorrect way"), can be fixed with Orientation Landscape 7.0+ master: Print Preview OK, preview in Print OK and stays OK if changed VP - so improvement So I couldn't reproduce your problem. I saw others, but they are corrected in master. Meaning: unlikely that this bug may be confirmed. You didn't write what's your VP default orientation. I suggest you install another VP, such as PDFIll I used, as set one as Portrait and other as Landscape and track difference. Also, User Profile Reset may help, that's why it's in the report form. "If I use the PDF selection, this function will print all tabs" That's sth. else, I don't understand, default is Print Selected Sheets. You shouldn't use master to work, but you may use it for test, and that's the best when reporting bug. It's separate to working LO and doesn't take extensions. Please try from https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html. I'll set to Needinfo for you to test yourself all the options. Please take the time. PS if you report a bug, please don't use zip which is easier for you but harder for all others, but attach single files.
This could very well have something to do with Foxit Phantom PDF as I have seen similar issues recently on another computer. Thanks for the response, I do not have any more time to spend on this. It works at 6.2.8 so will stay with this right now.
This sounds much like bug#126744
Xisco, script again opens bug wrongly. (In reply to NISZ LibreOffice Team from comment #6) > This sounds much like bug#126744 Side part of it, yes, but it better be related, so I'll mark. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 126744 ***
Yes, it failed but for other reasons. I hope it's fixed by tomorrow
