Description: After updating my LibreOffice 5.3 to 6.4 all my documents disappeared. I got a message that i needed to update LibreOffice in order to be able to use it. I still got an old Window version. I used Libre only to make spreadsheet documents. They are still visible when I open Libre under recent opened documents, but when I click on them it says that the file doesn't exists. I can't find those files through the normal way by opening the file location. Steps to Reproduce: 1.open libre 2.click on a recent file 3.message of file does not exist Actual Results: no files, they disappeared Expected Results: opened the files Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: ...

Nothing in LibreOffice can tell you that: you may use even the oldest version (3.3) as long as you wish; and even OOo e.g. v.1.3. Of course, available updates are reported (according to update checking settings), but they are never mandatory. Was that some third-party software (like those "helpful system optimizers")? And then - uninstalling LibreOffice only removes files from Program Files. It never touches anything in documents or elsewhere. Wasn't that one of MS updates that is recently known to remove user data from time to time [1]? Whatever it is, very unlikely it is LO bug. Looks like reporter needs some basic IT support. But this is no place for that, here is to report a bug when it's really a bug.
