Description Hilmi 2020-04-03 03:23:08 UTC
Description:
I think this is a formatting problem.
So I want heading 2, 3, and so on to have numbering with the first number is the chapter number, but I don't want the chapter number to show on heading 1. So I made a new character style and check the hidden checkbox on the font effects tab, and apply this character style to the heading 1 character style on the chapter numbering window. But it doesn't work.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new character style.
2. Check hidden on the font effects tab.
3. Set the character style to a level on the chapter numbering window.

Actual Results:
The numbers are not hidden.

Expected Results:
The numbers are hidden.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
If you do fix this, please tell me how to make the number hidden too in the table of content. Thank you.

You can easily customise chapter numbering for each level with Tools => Chapter Numbering. And of course it is possible to have irst level with no numbering. If you need help, please use ask.libreoffice.org. If you still think, it's a bug, please feel free to change it back to UNCONFIRED with a short comment and a reasoning.
