I can't make a suggestion there, so I'm posting it here:
Cell contents can be formatted in various ways. For example, a number can be formatted as currency to be displayed with a currency symbol. You see the currency symbol in the cell, but you cannot easily search for it. You must turn on the "Formatted display" option in "Search", then you can also search for these characters.

You could also delete the hint completely, because as I said before it is not correct anymore.
