Description bazz cargo 2020-04-11 23:36:41 UTC
Office version 6.3.5.2

0ubuntu0.18.04.1~lo1
UK English
Writer

65 Page book in A5 Format.
Page numbering unusable.
Used Footer>insert>page number and for first three pages okay, after that whatever number I use ends up repeated on each subsequent page.

Considering page numbers are an integral element of all multi-page documents it seems odd that it is not an option when setting up the page specifications.

Good luck
and stay safe
Bazz

After having made a backup of your file, could you give a try to LO 6.4.2 from LO ppa to see if you reproduce this on this version?

Never had problem to do page numbering of long documents.
Please could you attach the document for which you have this problem. Before to do so, please remove any personal information because that will make the document publicly available.

Additionally, what is your desktop environment? Gnome, KDE, XFCE, other?

Status has been set to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once requested information has been provided.
