Description Jim Avera 2020-04-14 18:56:45 UTC
In Calc, Insert->Named Range_or_Expression opens a dialog in which nothing works except the "Close" and "Help" buttons. Everything else appears disabled (greyed).

There exists a similar item under the Sheet menu which is functional. Maybe the item under the Insert menu was intended to be removed?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1.  $ /path/to/master/program/soffice --calc
2. Select column A (for example)
3.  Insert->Named range or expression

RESULTS: Range is not defined, and the only available action is to "Cancel"

Oh never mind. I see now that it wants to copy the *definitions* of named ranges into the selected cells, not create named ranges.
