Hi. First of all, sorry for my english. A suggestion. I use to make books in epub format with writer2epub but sometimes failed, especially when the text has images and tables. In the last time i'm trying the "export to epub" tool and it works well. Does not has problems with images and the work with tables is much better than w2e. Anyway, i make some suggestions: - the footnotes appear in the middle of the text, and this is a problem. Breaks the lecture. I suggest bring al the footnotes to an only html section, like w2e does, in fact. - again with footnotes: in my experience, when i've been reading a epub on ebookreader, it's really hard to press the exact point that must send to the footnote. One can press in the screen over the number but usually change the page or mark like selection. I guess that is a link problem. My suggestion is try with the following kind of link that works well in many devices: first link: <a href="../Text/notas.xhtml#nt1" id="rf1">[1]</a> return link: <div class="nota"> <p id="nt1">[1] XXXXXXX <a href="../Text/Introduction.xhtml#rf1"><<</a></p> </div> I hope you welcome my suggestions. Thanks for all your great job. Greetings
Alejandro, thank you for reporting the bug. Please add informations from Help => About LibreOffice, bacause I can't confirm your report. => NEEDINFO My results: Footnotes are placed at the end of the text and I don't have problems with click on footnote anchor. I used Adobe digital editions for reading.
Please try using File->Export and select EPUB as type. Writer has builtin support for epub export, so no need to use the writer2epub extension.
Hello Dieter. When you talk about the help section, you mean that i must upload a epub file in there? No problem. I can do it. Samuel. That's the bug that i'm trying to expose. Is not about writer2epub. Is with the Export-epub of libreoffice (6.3 and 6.4 version in Linux). When I Export to epub in the Archive section, it happens what i previously described. I use Sigil to edit the epub. Greetings!
Created attachment 160466 [details] Epub example Hello. I just attached a example of what i'm trying to say. It's a epub made with Export-epub in libreoffice writer 6.4. I hope that i'm not making a mistake uploading it in this section. Greetings

(In reply to alejandro from comment #3) > Hello Dieter. When you talk about the help section, you mean that i must > upload a epub file in there? No problem. I can do it. Dieter meant that in LibreOffice, you choose the menu Help - About and copy the text from there. Starting from version 7.0, it has a button to copy the text. In 6.4, you have to click once on the text and copy with Ctrl-C. (In reply to alejandro from comment #4) > Created attachment 160466 [details] > Epub example > > Hello.
