Could you provide minimal step by step process to reproduce this? (don't hesitate to attach some files if it can help).
Steps: 1: open LO Calc 2: open Data > Data Provider... from menubar 3: Data Provider dialogue opens - menubar is absent (see https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=160216)

Dataprovider entry isn't available anymore in master sources. Does someone work on it? If nobody does, is it planned to be removed? Should the bugtrackers concerning dataproviders be put to WONTFIX? Again sorry for this putting you in cc, I know you don't want but it's just to know what we should do for dataprovider feature since I haven't found anything in dev LO forum (or have missed it).
Unless I find some more free time or someone else steps up again this feature is not ready for users yet. Sadly I did not find a GSoC student this year who would be working on the project.
