I am not a programmer, but I have used LibreOffice for a long time. The Unformatted Paste option always worked on Windows 7. It does not always work in the Windows 10 versions. If I copy from an LibreOffice document, the function always works. If I copy from another source, it may or may not work. The regular paste function always works. So if I attempt to use Unformatted paste and it fails, I con do a regular paste, copy that, delete it, then do an unformatted paste - that seems to always work, but what an inconvenience!

I expect the text to be inserted with whatever formatting is current in the document
