- New Presentation or Drawing
- Add Text box or shape, with 'test'
- Keep in edit mode
- Click in control for (e.g.) character size
- Move cursor there with (shift+) left/right
   > cursor jumps to the text in the shape/text box

When doing this in e.g. Writer, you can type another value in the list box, and confirm with Enter.
If you type anything in the current buggy situation, that is added to the selection in the text box/shape
