I would like to suggest the implementation of Slicers on LO Calc. This new feature would work with tables selected by the user (not only with Pivot Tables). 

Slicers are very useful to quickly filter data and develop more interactive spreadsheets. The user should be able to select a table and add Slicers (data segmentation) for the columns he/she wishes. This feature is also available on MS Excel. Next is a link describing the "Slicer" feature.
