Description adrock77 2020-07-01 18:43:20 UTC
Description:
I use Libre Office (Writer) for my writing jobs. Each of my jobs has a job title and number associated to it. In Microsoft Word, I just copy that title and number to use as the file name by "Save As" and then paste it into the description. In Libre Office, I copy the title and number, but it will not allow me to paste it into the file description. Nothing pastes at all. Would be great to paste whatever was copied.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Copy text within your document
2. Go to File > Save As
3. Paste into the "Save As" form field (area where you'd name the document)
4. Discover it won't paste for some reason
5. Get frustrated
6. Hand type everything in
7. Hit "Save"

Actual Results:
LibreOffice Writer won't allow you to paste copied text into a file name when saving the file.

Expected Results:
The software should have recognized that I had text copied already, and then pasted it when directed. Instead, it does nothing.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes
