Description yaimo3@protonmail.ch 2020-07-07 09:11:44 UTC
Description:
The backtranslation in english would be formatpreset which is off. The english version uses the term cell style. Distinguishing from any sort of fontwork presets. The german translation therefore leads to confusion mixing up two different things. It also uses the term "Vorlage anwenden" (engl. apply preset) in the conditional formating dialogue for these cell styles. A better term would be "Zellenstil" or "Zellen Style".

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open up the style panel (F11)
2. Read the title in a German version of LO.
3. Compare it with the English version.

Actual Results:
Formatvorlage

Expected Results:
Zellen Style

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
None.

'Zellenstil' will probably be better than mixing German and English into 'Zellen Style'

A new major release of LibreOffice is available since this bug was reported.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Still the same on pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today.

Now "git grep -n 'Formatvorlagen'" shows a lot of strings containing this word.
