No. The insertion point is as marked; outside and before the table.
I guess, you've inserted columns with Format => Columns. The result is the expected result. In your case you should use Insert => Section => Columns. Does this solve your problem? => NEEDINFO

I would have never found that. All I can say is count on LibreOffice to do something non-intuitive. If they can somehow scatter the functions regarding the same feature throughout the menus, they will. Failing to start with a screen that is not tied to the printer in the first place, then needing to use sections just makes things harder. This is anything but wysiwyg. Linux needs a full-featured quality word processor and not a desktop publishing wannabee. Thanks again.
