Description: I am using Calc to inventory my DVD & BD movie collection. When I want to search my collection to see if I have a particular title, I will use the 'find' feature. If the title has an apostrophe in it, 90% of the time it will not find the title, i.e., zero return. This problem came about while using 'spell checker' throughout the sheet. It would always lock up on any word that had an apostrophe in it. If I tried to 'add the word to the [US English] dictionary, the search might continue, but would not add the word to the dictionary. I know because on the next spell check, the same cell would be highlighted and I would click on 'add word'. Actual Results: 1. Be able to add the word with an apostrophe to the dictionary. Expected Results: So it wont lock up and say this word doesn't exist. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: ?
I am not sure of exactly which version of LibreOffice I have, I am unable to just open the preview pane. I have had this problem of Calc not finding any word with an apostrophe going back several release versions. This is not a unique issue to this version.
Is it possible the share an example file (will be public) and a list of steps to take to produce the problem
