same thing happened with LO 6.4.5 32-Bit / it can also not be instilled on windows 8.1.
Surprisingly it went fine installing the LO package 6.4.3.2

on Windows 10 Pro LO 6.4.5 64-Bit went fine. As a work-around I was able to install onto my laptop running Windows 8.1 the version 6.4.3 successfully, only

Please check if the FAQ [1] provides you some useful guidelines (specifically, "check the integrity" and "disable antivirus" parts).

The issue might be e.g. with some specific download mirror that happens to be close to you, and so be chosen by the MirrorBrain engine when you download. In that case, manually choosing another mirror would help; and then, you would help us a lot if you report that along with the faulty mirror address.

Thanks!

Hello Mike,

thanks for the hint. to be honest, I couldn't believe that, but when selecting the US Version installation without errors was fine on Windows 8.1 thereafter.
