Description Nicolas Christener 2020-07-28 12:44:09 UTC
Description:
It's not possible to resize a picture with the finger (using the handles on the corner) in the iOS app. This is a regression as it previously worked.

Tested with 4.2.6 (61) on iOS 13.5.

It doesn't happen every time - but in >80% of my cases. The app is in a broken state afterwards and needs to be closed and restarted.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create/open a writer document on iOS
2. Insert a picture
3. Try to resize the picture with a finger using the handles on the corner of the picture

Actual Results:
Most of the time the app is in an unusable state after resizing a picture.

Expected Results:
The picture should be resized.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
This is a regression as resizing worked in older version. I can "bi-bi-sect" the versions and figure out which version broke it. Please let me know if this is helpful.

Indeed, I can confirm, even in normal online (this is based on master branch of online), thanks for reporting! I'm pretty sure it's a regression.

This is fixed now. I tested with iOS 4.2.8 (26).

Thanks a lot to the Collabora team for taking care of this!

I believe this issue can be closed now.
