The various properties in the "Chapter Numbering" dialogue often need a lot of tweaking, and visual feedback from the edit window is essential, particularly for new users. But, at present, you have to press "OK" which closes the dialog, requiring reopening and closing agaimn to make another change.

SUGGESTION: An obvious one. Add an APPLY button to the dialog.

(BTW, Bug 37336 is a very general request for APPLY buttons: each case should be considered as a new ticket).

Since the apply button for dialog is generally accepted with bug 37336 I change status to NEW.
