Could you provide the precise URL from where you download?
Comment 2 Julien Nabet 2020-07-31 11:52:41 UTC
Please don't answer in private but by using this link:
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135333#

So you used:
https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/?version=7.0.0

Do you reproduce the same if you try to download English version or is it specific to German version?

No problem with Firefox 79 on Ubuntu on the same link. Downloaded without any problem.
Comment 4 Lars-Erik 2020-07-31 16:13:40 UTC
I still got the same problem. It's only the program file that behaves like this, nit the help file. Then the download is ready I find the following files in my download directory:

LibreOffice_7.0.0.3_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz   -> 0 bytes

LibreOffice_7.0.0.3_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz.part  ->  248.9 MiB

I hope this will help you.

As a test I downloaded version 6.4.5 without problem and don't know why. The computer had 16 G RAM so that is enough for this task.

Hello!

I think I know the problem. It refers to FireFox under the Privacy and Security page.

Security

Deceptive Content and Dangerous Software Protection
Block dangerous downloads "This is the problem for me, if checked".

If "Block dangeros downloads" is checked, you will get the warning "This file contains a virus or malware". If I uncheck it, everything works fine.

Download of LibreOffice-6.4.5 works fine if "Block dangerous downloads" is checked.

I use FireFox 79.0 and Fedora 32.

I hope this will help you and I sorry for answering a little late.

Hello!

Yesterday I received an updated FireFox (Released July 28, 2020) and after the update downloading LibreOffice-7.0.0.3 just works fine with
"Block dangeros downloads" checked.
