Description: I love Libre Office. Awesome. But the one single thing that's bothered me for ages is the "dirt" that regularly appears on documents and obscures lettering. It appears as if the typing area is not being properly and regularly refreshed, leaving behind bits of prior character positioning. The little black specks can halfway cover a current line and make it difficult to read. These heavy specs disappear if one scrolls down or up off of that section of page... if the document is long enough. If not, I've found no way to remove them. Perhaps a manual or automatic screen refresh (every 5 seconds or so) would help eliminate this issue (or... if possible find out what causes the dirt in the first place). Also you can try to reset user profile: Go to Help - Restart in Safe Mode - Factory Settings. If this problem still happened please come here online on this bug and let us a comment.
I followed the patient and respectful email request from Bogdan to reset my Libre Office settings. That seems to have cleared up this problem; I have not noticed the "black smudges" since. Thank you for your assistance Bogdan. Best wishes to the team. Awesome software.
Technically, WFM is when there was a confirmed bug, which is not the case here, this is NotaBug. As reporter may see, that's why we have User Profile Reset: question in the report, to do it before submitting.
