LO has a pyramid style of sections, while Word has an array of sections. So LO's bottom layer of the pyramid is "unspecified", but it still exists. And since it is a pyramid, the start of the document is the same style as the end of the document - but that doesn't fit well at all with Word's sequential concept. So if sections are used, EVERYTHING tends to be specified, including the beginning and the end. LO splits the stuff from a Word-section between Sections and Page Styles (since Word doesn't have page styles).
