About hardware, I suppose you have LO for MacOs64 Intel.

For the rest, could you try https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps ?

For Catalina, I know there are Java problem detection by LO.
Comment 3 bob 2020-08-15 10:28:33 UTC

Yes completely reset the user profile before submitting the bug report. Made no difference.

Have done a complete clearn reinstall of LO6, but problem still persists.

Ok so it's not a pb of corrupted profile.

Could you try to retrieve some extra information by applying this https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#macOS:_How_to_get_debug_information ?
Comment 7 Julien Nabet 2020-08-15 12:17:16 UTC
Also, does it happen with any document (a brand new one with just some "Lorem Ipsum" in it for example) or just some specific document ?
Comment 8 bob 2020-08-15 12:23:30 UTC
It has been happening on files received from others and files created by myself.

I've done another user profile reset and a particular troublesome file is not giving me grief, so I may have flushed something out. Anyway it is way past my bedtime, so I'll give it and you a rest until later. Thanks for your help so far.

I've just done a clean reinstall of V7 and really pushed things. So far no problems, so it looks like you folks were right that it was a corrupted user profile that I eventually managed to knock on the head. Don't close the bug report quite yet, since I'll give it a few more days (the fault was happening really frequently so it will be very obvious quickly whether it continues). But if it was a corrupted user file then many thanks for your help.

Good news then! :-)
Let's put this one to RESOLVED/WFM then. If you can still reproduce this, you can put it back to UNCONFIRMED.
