Description: ENHANCEMENT: Make dictionary extension zipped bundles (reduces disk usage, maybe little speed-up at installation) Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install LibreOffice (with all languages) 2. Go to the extension directory (bundle size 658 MB or so) 3. Compress it with zip normal; 170 MB Actual Results: Lots dictionary files Expected Results: Maybe zipped bundles? ODT/ODS can be read pretty fast. The old system can be in place next to new one (for backwards compability) Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: 6640d7f405d2970ba2825a9455926cc803284d01 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL); UI: en-US Calc: CL
My two cents is that generally, users only install one or a few languages/dictionaries. It's more relevant for QA people rather than regular users, and since it's not a huge hindrance (disk is cheap), probably not worth much effort.
