After fixing tdf#135115, there is now "Paragraph Direct Formatting" entry in Styles Inspector. So pre-existing "Direct Formatting" category must be renamed to the proper "Character Direct Formatting", as is properly belongs to.

Aron Budea committed a patch related to this issue.
It has been pushed to "master":
