2. Start Base or Writer or Calc or Math

Problem does NOT occur in Impress
Problem does NOT occur in Draw

Additional Info:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G4400 @ 3.30GHz
32GB RAM

Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64-bit

Version: 7.0.1.2
Build ID: 7cbcfc562f6eb6708b5ff7d7397325de9e764452
CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Video of the problem occuring: https://youtu.be/dgTLhkBh0dQ

Screen recorder is chewing up CPU creating the video, but when LO is running by itself CPU will eventually get to 99 to 100% in 10 to 15 minutes, and it becomes unusable. It gets to the point in Calc that after entering a number and hitting enter, one has to wait 10 to 15 seconds before they can enter another number.

Restarted in safe mode - no change
Restored default settings from safe mode - no change
disabled java - restarted LO - no change
disabled hardware acceleration - restarted LO - no change
disabled anti-aliasing - restarted LO - no change
