Thank you for reporting the bug. it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

I've updated to: Version: 7.0.2.2 Build ID: 8349ace3c3162073abd90d81fd06dcfb6b36b994 CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-GB Flatpak Calc: threaded and the graphs seem to stay with the Data Ranges. I haven't had any occurence of the original problem since. fyi, when updating the daily World Health Organisation data, some of the charts update and some don't. I update all the sheets necessary and have to save, close calc and then reopen for all the charts to be up to date. It's not a problem for me, just passing on an observation. The data comes (daily) from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19/master/csse_covid_19_data/csse_covid_19_time_series/time_series_covid19_confirmed_global.csv and https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19/master/csse_covid_19_data/csse_covid_19_time_series/time_series_covid19_deaths_global.csv and are pasted into cell A1 of sheets "dd_cases" and "dd_dead" respectively, then sheets "cases cx", "deaths cx", "extract", "slope 8 wks", "slope 4 wks" and "slope 2 wks" are updated manually. Those are the sheets where the data for the charts is derived. Some charts update and some don't. Saving and reopening isn't a problem for me, just thought you'd like to know.

I haven't had any > occurence of the original problem since. Let's close this, then. The updating problem mentioned in comment 4 might have been bug 86321, which was recently fixed.
