Using Ubuntu 20.04 having upgraded from 18.04 last week. Was editing a Writer (i,e Text file) when the power must have flipped & I came back to desk to find system log-on prompt. Back in - & found difficulty in locating file I was editing. Anyway, I did find it - only to find that many updates I applied were lost (I've been spoilt over the years with 18:04) Then I tried importing /pasting from a small xls file - but somehow (& I don't understand it) I was bringing in an old version -which I couldn't lose from the clipboard. Eventually I went back to another M/C still happily running 18.04 Please make LibreOffice like it was - slick and reliable!
May be another issue of initial installs of Libreoffice (using distribution specific packages from Ubuntu base repositories) on Ubuntu 20.04 based Linux distributions. There are many reports about that at ask.libreoffice.org and almost all of 'em could be fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling Libreoffice. Menahem, what you descibes is for Ask.. here we need exact steps. So this cannot be confirmed and I'll close. Advice was given, you could have reinstalled LO. Note that Lubuntu printing is another Bug 125234.
