Description Xavier COUDIN 2020-11-05 15:05:59 UTC
hello,
a small bug.
not a crash, just a disturbing procedure

when printing multi-copy (ex: 5 times) of a document (whatever the number of pages), using a printer (photocopier) which is requesting a (digital) password,
LibreOffice will ask the password for every time of printing (so in this example 5 times).

Other software (MS-Office, Adobe Reader,...) don't do like that. You just provide the password once, and the multi-copy is processed well.

Imagine how troublefull it would be if we had to print 80x the document...

(tested only with Writer, not tested with Calc yet)

best regards

Xavier, unfortunately nobody could confirm this bug report during the last months. So I'd like to ask, if it is still valid. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
